25 male here. I'm admittedly an alcoholic at a consistent liter of whiskey a day, more if I'm being particularly "ambitious". 2 weeks ago today my friend rushed my ass to a hospital because I thought I was dying, which I guess ended up not being far from the truth.
I haven't had a sip of alcohol since, and I got home last Wednesday. I feel awful, though.
