How do I get from Palm Beach Gardens to Miami without a car?

Hi everyone! I'm from Spain and I’ll be living in Palm Beach Gardens for three months due to a university program. The thing is, I won’t have a car while I'm there, and I’d like to know how to travel from Palm Beach Gardens to Miami, what transport options are available, and what the prices are like. I’m also thinking about getting a frequent traveler card if anyone has experience with that. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.
