Hard water - causing issues

My family and I just moved from Coral Springs to west Boynton beach and everyone in the household has noticed a significant difference in our hair and skin the last 3 months - extremely dry, and itchy, and just looks depleted of all signs of life. The common denominator is the hard water from our showers. Has anyone else noticed this and/or has anyone gotten a whole house water filtration system? Thoughts and recommendations are appreciated!
