GENERATION 2014 is a six-part documentary series by director and volunteer Yevhen Titarenko, filmed over eleven years of war in Ukraine. Episode 2: "My Friend Lysyi".

This is the story of a volunteer from the "Hospitallers" medical battalion, whom I have been filming from the first days of the war in 2014, through the full-scale invasion in 2022, and up to the present day. The camera stays close to those saving lives on the front line. No staging. No pathos. Just the raw reality of war that changes people forever. This is a portrait of a generation of Ukrainians who made a choice — to stay and fight.
