Gas stations shady pricing

Anybody else notice gas stations advertising a 2.89 price on their sign and at the pump it’s around a dollar more for 87 unleaded? The worst I’ve seen was $4 at the pump and the sign said 2.79 lol. Unfortunately was running late to work and ate the cost today.
