Furniture stores City Place

Does anyone know why there are so many furniture/home stores in downtown WPB? There’s crate & barrel, restoration hardware, casper (a mattress store), west elm, the shade store (to sell blinds), design within reach, and now perigold. It feels like such a waste of prime real estate.
