I’m a federal worker who is essential but not receiving pay due to the government shutdown. it’s really starting to take a toll. I’m struggling to keep up with basic expenses, and it’s honestly a really stressful and overwhelming time. I’m trying to find any resources, benefits, or places that are offering free support for federal employees right now — things like food assistance, grants, bill relief, free meals, or community programs.
