Does anyone know a good spot to fish in Miami/Hialeah?

A little context, my husband has been wanting to fish since he used to fish when he was younger, we bought everything we needed (I believe) and I think we are ready to go but we don't know any fishing spots, we just want a nice place to relax while sitting on cheap folding chairs on a Sunday afternoon and another question is, can we eat the fish?
