Many golf courses here have gators, and they are common in the Everglades. But an American Crocodile is pretty rare. Especially here in the suburbs. Very cool sighting for me. I’ve actually seen one before but that was in flamingo while on a fishing trip. I know there’s one in blackpoint all the time and a few have been seen in key biscayne. Talking to a neighbor, he told me he’s been around all week. I also spoke to a friend of mine who is a bass fishing guide here in the canals and he’s also seen a croc very recently. I love these guys, think they are very special creatures just living and don’t want this to seem like they are dangerous monsters out to get you, but I would like for people living around fuchs park to be aware he’s around especially if they like to walk their dog down this street.
