Crandon Beach aka Mosquito Beach

Now I understand why this beach is so empty in comparison to other places. If South Pointe Park had a lot as large as the one in Mosquito Beach you would not be able to find a spot; at Mosquito Beach is hard to find a car park at that huge empty lot.

Since when and why is Virginia Key charging money to go in. That was my first choice but I was not going to pay to go to the beach. It seems crazy to me that all of a sudden this people are changing a fee. Does anyone know why?
