Cleaning out a home…best way to unload household stuff?

We are coming on from out of state, tasked with clearing out the home of an elderly relative. What’s left is furniture, kitchenware and books, for the most part. Are thrift stores in Boca even accepting these items or do we need to hire a dumpster? This is a two-bedroom place but we will be under a time crunch and will have about 3-4 days to get it done. Happy to donate any worthy items to a charity if nearby, as well. I’m not sure if any of it will have value, honestly. Anyone here have recommendations?
