Can I use UAE license or IDP to drive in Miami?

I am new in Miami for 2 weeks holding a J-1 visa. My UAE driving license is valid for two more years and I just got my IDP last month. I have booked driving license exams for the end of May. Can I use my previous license to drive in between?
