Basically the title. I’ve been looking through the Psychology Today website and I don’t know what’s a good measure for a good counseling therapist. I tried sorting through my insurance (AvMed) but I still don’t know what I’m supposed to look for in a therapist beyond what insurance they take and the basic bio they give.
Do I look at how long they have been in practice? Where they got their degree?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
