Besides school buses, are there transportation companies offering entry level CDL jobs that are strictly local?
I want to get my CDL in my mid-50s as a retiree who’s changing careers. I want to be home every night. I’ll have a pension (yeah I’m a lucky SOB, I know), so I don’t care if the trucking job doesn’t pay a lot. I just want work/life balance and be home nights, weekends and holidays. From what I can tell online, local CDL jobs require at least a year or 2 being OTR.
