Any good places to get clothes fixed??

I have some nice pants and wool sweaters that I want to get repaired. Its all just small 3 mm holes that appeared after washing and I don't want the damage to get larger. Any places that mend small holes that aren't outrageously expensive?

I went to a dry cleaners in Hialeah and the lady said I should just do it myself but id rather have someone with experience do it so the holes don't reform.
