18 & Homeless in MN, Dreaming of Moving to Florida (Visited Before) Advice?

I’m 18 and currently homeless in Minnesota. It’s been rough, especially with the cold. Florida has been my dream for a while the warmer weather, beaches, and vibe just feel right. I’ve actually visited Florida before, specifically South Miami so I know it’s not completely unfamiliar, and I’m really wanting that fresh start.

I know it’s a huge risk, but I really think it will be worth it. I just got some cash benefits loaded on my EBT card, and I’ve been seriously considering making the move. The problem is: I don’t know anyone in Florida, don’t have a job lined up, and I’m worried about ending up in an even worse spot with higher rents in a lot of areas and no support network.

Before I make any big move, I wanted to ask for honest advice, Has anyone here moved across states while young and homeless? What worked or didn’t?
