I am down in Ft. Lauderdale for a decent amount of time and am stuck with my parents and grandmother. A large chunk of our family couldn’t make it down from the East cost for various reasons.
So, I am pretty bored between just going to the pool and preparing lunch & dinner for everyone that did come.
I am looking to explore the city more, but I unfortunately don’t know anyone down here and am not too fond of going out alone for multiple hours at a time.
If you moved down here and started from scratch, where’d you meet people? Also, does anyone know if they run any services during the week at churches in Ft. Lauderdale?
Some things about me: 24F, Christian, love watching and playing basketball, in college/working, love cooking, listen to mostly comedy podcasts, passionate about pets and animal rescues. Also a huge BTW: I do not drink. Addiction runs thick in my family.
