Whats the deal with airport parking?

I live about 25 minutes away from FLL so I was thinking of just parking there for a week trip, but the website for parking is pretty confusing and I cant find an estimate for that amount of time or the parking options—what is everyone’s experience? The shuttle/uber/lyft option doesn’t seem ideal.
