What was that animal

Was catching the sunrise in lauderdale by the sea with some friends this morning. We saw a large animal with a ridged back break the surface of the water not 50ft from the shore. No dorsal fin. If I had to guess 10+ ft long.

I know it’s a very general description but any idea what it could have been?
