Looking for some opinions on the area around 1620 S Ocean Blvd, FL 33062.

• I'm a 33-year-old male, living with my wife.
• We'll have a car, and work will most likely be in Fort Lauderdale.
• We're not into partying or socializing much — just prefer somewhere quiet, safe, and practical.

Is this a good area in terms of safety, commute, and general day-to-day living? Or would it make more sense to be closer to Fort Lauderdale?
