Starting a funk/rock band in Ft. Lauderdale

I’m new to Ft. Lauderdale and looking to put together a funk/rock/R&B band. Mainly just want to jam, but open to write/record songs or gig. I play guitar and a little bit of keys and sax. I played in a band for 6 years and gigged throughout college (I just graduated). Also have experience recording and producing my own music with a decent following on Spotify.
