I'm looking to spend a couple of days shadowing a licensed electrician here in Fort Lauderdale area to get a better feel for the trade. I'm seriously considering pursuing a career in electrical work and would really appreciate the chance to observe the day-to-day tasks, ask questions, and get a sense of the workflow on real jobs. I would think that residential work would fit right for me, but tbh i dont know much about commercial to have a firm opinion on it.
A little about me:
- i currently work in remodeling (kitchens, bathrooms, mainly demo work but I’ve put together a few projects)
- i run an LLC and have experience working with tools and on-site logistics
- im punctual, respectful, and understand the importance of safety and professionalism on a job site
- i'm not looking for pay—just a learning opportunity. Though if we get along and youre looking for help, i dont think id turn down an opportunity
- i can help carry materials, clean up, or assist where appropriate
- i am a US citizen, have a license/passport here, live in Fort Lauderdale, and have a working vehicle
If you're a licensed electrician—or know someone who might be open to this—i’d love to connect. I’m flexible with dates and can work around your schedule. Feel free to DM me or drop a comment here.
Thank you :)
