Question about Covenant house (youth homeless shelter)

Their website clearly says they serve youth ages 18-24.

If you state your are over 22 you will be met with a response that they only shelter/help up to age 22.

Has anyone stayed here at this shelter? Could someone shed some light on the discrepancy?
