TL;DR: A convicted child predator named Bradley Dalzell is impersonating a female Uber driver named SVITLANA. He picked up my wife and friends, attempted to gather personal information, and has since continued to contact her. This has been reported to Uber and the Broward County police.

On Sunday, June 15th (early morning of the 16th), my wife and her friends were out celebrating a birthday in Las Olas. Around 1:20 AM, she ordered an Uber to return to our apartment.
The app showed a female driver named SVITLANA driving a grey Tesla. When the car arrived, although the vehicle and license plate matched, it was a man driving not the woman shown in the profile. This isn't entirely uncommon in South Florida, and they got in.
During the ride, the man explained the profile was “a friend’s” and claimed he was just doing Uber “for fun.” He then said Uber takes a big cut of his pay, and asked my wife for her phone number to contact her directly for future private chauffeur rides at a discount. Her phone was low on battery, so he offered to charge it in his center console, and during that time, asked again for her number. She gave it reluctantly, and he then texted her “Hey, it’s Brad from Uber” while still driving.
He continued the conversation, telling her about how long he’s lived in Florida, and that he plays volleyball on the beach with his friends, inviting her and her friends to join sometime. This interaction made my wife increasingly uncomfortable, and she described his energy as creepy and suggestive.
Upon arrival, he commented on our apartment complex, noting she must live in "those new apartments,” and mentioned that he lived near Coral Ridge Mall. This made her more uncomfortable, and she woke me up after the ride to express how uncomfortable she had felt.
We didn’t speak of it again until this Friday when I noticed the same man had continued texting her a casual "Happy Friday". Concerned, I looked up the phone number he had texted from.
To my shock, a reverse search revealed the number belongs to Bradley Dalzell, and a quick search showed that he is a registered child sex predator. According to the FDLE database, he lives near Coral Ridge Mall and owns a grey Tesla, matching the vehicle used.
This is deeply alarming:
- He is using a fraudulent Uber profile, posing as a female driver to gain trust.
- He is soliciting passengers’ personal information to bypass Uber and offer rides directly.
- He now knows where we live and has continued to contact my wife.
- He is a convicted sexual predator, with access to random, often vulnerable riders—including potentially unaccompanied minors.
This man should never be allowed to drive for Uber or any service that involves unsupervised, direct contact with the public—especially women and children.
Actions Taken:
- I have reported this incident in full to the Uber Safety Team.
- A report has been filed with Broward County Police.
Please stay alert. I am sure this is not the first time he's ubered and I can only imagine how many girls he texted "Happy Friday" to. The fact he is ubering people at 1:30am in Las Olas says enough.
