Port Everglades to PBI

We are coming back from a cruise next spring and are considering flying at PBI instead of FLL because of a heavily discount rate. The flight departs at 12pm and we can get off the ship at 7am. Would it make sense to Uber from Port Everglades to the train station, take the Brightline to WPB, and Uber to PBI? Google Maps is showing it'll take 3 hours. As for the seats, the Brightline SMART fare says we don't get to choose our seats. We have a little child and want her sitting with at least 1 parent.
