Place to stay on vacation

I'm going on a trip soon with my friend, we're looking for a place with good vibrant nightlife aswell as good beaches. Just looking to have fun, but don't want the dirty/trashy vibe(similar to panama city or myrtle). We were looking into either Las Olas, Hollywood Beach, or Lauderdale by the sea. We are really just trying to find soemthing with a good vibe downtown aswell on the beach .

If you have any suggestions, please help us out. We want to stay within 10 mins walking distance to the beach, aswell as kinda close to the downtown areas aswell.
