Pier Sixty Six or Marriott Harbor Beach Resort for NYE with kids

Good Morning! Our family of 6 (2 adults, 3 kids + nanny) will be traveling to Ft. Lauderdale for a NYE long weekend. We are deciding between Pier Sixty Six or Marriott Harbor Beach Resort as these both look the most family friendly. Our kids are ages 8, 6, and 1. We are looking for beach access, a pool that will welcome active kids, and will be booking 2 rooms. Anyone have thoughts is one of these options is better than the other? They are both priced similarly, thanks!
