Peanut Island Tips

Hey, for my fiancees birthday, we are renting a tritoon to go with friends to peanut island and just enjoy the day on the boat this upcoming Friday. I'm going to be driving the boat, first time behind the wheel.

Just wondering if anyone has any tips to help me out, I've been researching and watching videos but still pretty nervous.
