No showing up for jury duty?

Hi everyone!

Has anyone actually been fined or sent to jail for not showing up to jury duty?

I forgot to call last week to see if I was selected to show up for jury duty and they called me yesterday (automatic system) to let me know to show up on Monday.. I figured since it’s been a week, they should have selected all their jurors. I really don’t want to go 😭
