I have a degree in biology but I do hold a Series 65 license. I was trying to pivot to finance and I thought I had succeeded with this role. I wouldn’t have expected to be let go in a million years. I was going to have been there a year on August 19. I had glowing performance reviews and my boss really liked me. It was at a small family-owned financial planning firm.
I’m only 26 (27 a month from tomorrow) and have never lost a job before so I am completely heartbroken and lost. I don’t know where to go from here or where to start looking. My boss told me they will file it as a “resignation” for my Series 65. Any advice or leads would be greatly appreciated.
