I could never imagine living in poverty. I told myself I would not let my kids suffer poverty and suffer the childhood I endured.

I had a 2.5 million dollar pipeline as a senior loan officer at a bank. When I got orders to report for Operation Iraqi Freedom. I had been out of the military for many years. Because after active I had 4 years of reserve duty as part of my contract. The an additional 5 years of IRR status inactive ready reserve which means if war breaks out they will call you back up. Anyways I end up waking up in a hospital. With a broke back broken jaw and cracked skull. I was thrown from a vehicle from a blast. I came home disabled and useless. I get benefits that barely covers the bills. I moved to Miami thinking I would get the best medical care and boy was I wrong. The Miami VA hospital nearly killed me and ruined life as I knew it. I took for granted the treatment I received for 20 years. All of it just ruined my kids childhood. I am so pissed at myself. I am not a proud Veteran. I am not proud of how our government is being ripped to peices. All because some hateful group of people want to burn it all to the ground.
