Hey everyone, I’m looking into coming down to Fort Lauderdale for seasonal work as a server. Couple of questions?

I’ve worked past seasons in Aspen and Martha’s Vineyard, and now I’m looking at Fort Lauderdale for the next one. I’d really like to work somewhere fast-paced and touristy — the kind of spot that’s busy, high energy, and where you can make good money hustling.

A couple of questions for locals / people in the scene: • When’s the best time to arrive and start applying? • Which areas or neighborhoods are best for tourist-heavy restaurants/bars? • Any tips on how seasonal hiring usually works in Fort Lauderdale?
