Help pick my hotel

Arriving few days early before our cruise.

Looking to spend time at the beach/pool with my kids and be in walking distance to places to eat.

Using points so need to select from:

AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach

Or

Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Beach

Both have similar reviews online. Any insight from locals?
