Good places to play poker?

I played poker during the late 00s/early 2010s craze.. loved it but it was too expensive for a student. Recently I went to the Dania casino on a Saturday afternoon and it seemed like it was 70% sharks/regulars. Got my ass handed to me and besides the money part, it just wasn't really fun, folks were too serious and stiff.

Do y'all have a preferred casino? Should I go on specific days or times to encounter a better vibe? Any home games/poker meetups?
