First trip to Fort Lauderdale

Hi everyone! Taking my first trip down to an Inter Miami game at the end of the month, and I was wondering where are the good places to eat? Is there a good place to stay, close to the airport and/or stadium? And what is there to do during the day? It will be a very short stay so I don't have a lot of time. Thanks!
