East Delray for young families

Hey All,

My wife and I are currently living in Miami with our 10 month old and dog...hopefully we will have another kid in the near future

We have been in Miami for the past 6 years...While we have really enjoyed it, our lifestyle desires really changed since having a kid. We like to be active, be near the beach, and want a nice environment for our family...the more 'chill' and suburban areas in Miami are generally pretty far from the beach and still seem more hectic than Delray

We have been to Delray numerous times and have always loved it...seems like a good mix of being more chill than Miami but not being too isolated and still being lively. We did 2 test runs (10 days in November and 1 week in February)...obviously the winter is more hectic but it was still more quiet than our life in Miami

We have an opportunity to get a place near the beach/Atlantic Ave (North Palm trail area so basically a decent walk to the George Bush Blvd beach entrance which is our favorite).

The only hesitation and the thing we are guessing is if it is a good area for young families...my wife is concerned we will be too young for the area but in my opinion it seems like a good mix of all groups
