Cool and good Mom and Pop Seafood restaurant

My wife and I are driving to Fort Lauderdale for a Cruise in April 2026 and we are looking for a good and (off the beaten path) seafood restaurant. Primarily driving along I95 but willing to go off course if it’s cool enough. I want like something off a back road along a swamp. Something like Merlots in True Blood lol. Just something good and cool. Please help.
