Best Nightlife in Fort Lauderdale for Solo 20-Something?

I’ll be in Fort Lauderdale Wednesday–Sunday for a work trip with my boss, but I’m hoping to squeeze in some fun nights out. I’m a 24-year-old female and will be staying near Sebastian Beach and Alhambra St.

I’m looking for: • Fun dancing (I don’t mind top 40s contrary to previous post in this community about nightlife) • A lively, social atmosphere (possibly some romance, but safety is a priority) • Places where I won’t feel awkward going solo • Ideally within walking distance, but I’m open to short Uber rides

Would it be worth heading to Miami for a fun night, or is there enough in Fort Lauderdale to keep me entertained?
