beach etiquette

hey! so I'll be visiting your beautiful city in a few days and was thinking of spending a day on the beach - fort lauderdale beach near sunrise blvd!

It's been over a decade since I went to a beach so I'd greatly appreciate help on some things:

are there beach chairs/umbrellas? for rent? Do I have to go buy them? Do most stores have them?

Doubt it but can i drink/smoke on the beach?

are there water fountains available?

Is there an opening/closing time?
